This is a vague intermezzo of a blog post. As usual, to assure you that I haven't dropped off the planet or anything but merely been occupied with Real Life.
But, as it happened, two other people dropped off the planet last week. As in, expired. Departed. Joined the here-after. And left behind a grieving family. I am not family, but friend of family. The loss is not mine, not directly, yet my life will be affected by the new reality that now exists. I am so very sorry for them.
On a lighter note, I have also been on a mini-break to Sicily. I read one book a day, walked for miles and miles, and ate loads of delicious Italian food. Will post pics later; till then, take care.
